Mentorship Policies

By signing up as a mentor on Intellectify.io (hereafter referred to as "the Platform"), you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Mentor Responsibilities

Professional Conduct: Mentors must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times and provide mentorship services to the best of their abilities.

Confidentiality: Mentors must keep all client information confidential and not disclose any details without the client's explicit consent.

Compliance: Mentors must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the provision of their services.

Accuracy: Mentors must provide accurate information about their qualifications, experience, and expertise.

3. Fees and Payment

Session Fees: Mentors will set their own fees for mentorship sessions.

Platform Commission: The Platform will deduct a 15% commission from each session fee as a service charge, advertising and other maintenance cost.

Payment Process: Payments will be processed through the Platform. The remaining 85% of the session fee will be disbursed to the mentor after the commission has been deducted. Payments to mentors will be made monthly.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Client Cancellations: If a client cancels a session, the mentor will be notified immediately. Refunds to clients and any potential compensation to mentors will be handled according to the Platform’s cancellation policy.

Mentor Cancellations: If a mentor needs to cancel a session, they must notify the client as soon as possible. Repeated cancellations by a mentor may result in account review and possible suspension.

5. Use of the Platform

Account Security: Mentors are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials. The Platform is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from a mentor’s failure to comply with this security obligation.

Prohibited Activities: Mentors may not use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, attempting to solicit business outside of the Platform, engaging in fraudulent activities, or harassing clients.

6. Intellectual Property

Content Ownership: Mentors retain ownership of the content they create and share on the Platform. However, by using the Platform, mentors grant the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content for the purposes of operating the Platform.

7. Termination

Voluntary Termination: Mentors may terminate their account at any time by providing written notice to the Platform.

Involuntary Termination: The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate a mentor’s account at any time for breach of these Terms or for any other reason deemed appropriate by the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is not responsible for any disputes, claims, losses, injuries, or damages of any kind that may arise out of or relate to the mentor-client relationship or the provision of mentorship services.

9. Amendments

The Platform reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Mentors will be notified of any changes and are encouraged to review the Terms regularly. Continued use of the Platform after any changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
